TECHNICAL DATA:
Combed cotton:
The cotton is subjected to a second process that consists of passing the yarn through "combs" that remove the impurities. This process can remove up to 15% of the fibres, leaving only the longest and most resistant fibres. The main advantage of combed cotton is the overall quality of the garment, as they are made only with long fibres, they are much more resistant and break less easily, as well as being cooler and softer to the touch. It also holds up better to dyeing processes and the colour stays bright for longer.
Organic cotton:
Cotton guaranteed by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS®) certification, which protects the health of people involved in the supply chain, from workers to end consumers. Organic combed cotton does not tolerate any genetic manipulation and has been grown without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilisers, which is why it can carry the GOTS® seal
The GOTS® production model guarantees safe and fair working conditions for both cotton producers and textile workers. It is the highest demanded seal that ensures a yarn that respects nature and people.
Detox cotton:
Cotton free of toxic or harmful substances in the supply chain. The yarn is dyed without using carcinogenic or allergenic dyes, making it totally hypoallergenic, which is why it is certified with the DETOX TO ZERO seal by OEKO-TEX®
DETOX TO ZERO by OEKO-TEX® is an efficient verification system that aims to implement the criteria of the Greenpeace DETOX Campaign within the production facilities, guaranteeing cotton free of harmful and toxic substances.
